This Privacy Policy applies to the Sentimental app for macOS (the "Application") provided by the Service Provider. The Application is provided "AS IS".

Information collection and use

The Application analyzes the sender, subject, and body of your emails to calculate sentiment. This processing happens locally on your Mac.

• Email content is processed on-device and is not sent to any servers.
• No analytics, tracking, or telemetry are used.
• Settings and sentiment scores are stored locally on your device to show statistics. You can reset stored data in Settings.

When the Mail extension is enabled, Mail provides message content only for analysis. Sentimental does not track you across apps or websites.

The Application does not access your location or contacts and does not collect device identifiers.

Third party access

The Application does not share data with third parties because no data is transmitted off your device.

Opt-out rights

You can stop all use of the Application by uninstalling it from your Mac.

Data retention policy

Any data stored locally (such as settings and sentiment scores) remains on your device until you reset it in Settings or uninstall the Application.

Children

The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal data from children, and the Application is not designed to collect personal data from users of any age.

Security

All processing occurs on your device. Because no data is transmitted, there are no servers storing your information.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of the Application is deemed acceptance of the updated policy.

This Privacy Policy is effective as of 26 January 2026.
